FROM EXPRESS TIMES

Four years after many gathered for the first time on the Easton campus, 590 undergraduates were cheered onto the stage this afternoon at Lafayette College as they celebrated their commencement and accepted their diplomas.
"Graduates, today is your day," commencement speaker Portia Simpson Miller told the group. "Now is the time to celebrate your success."
On the grassy campus quad, with the brick facade of Pardee Hall in the background, whoops and cheers of family and friends rang out under sunny skies as the Class of 2014 was honored during the college's 179th annual commencement ceremony.
