FROM KEITH GROLLER

Despite the snow, a lot of athletic directors were determined to get theIR scheduled games in on Saturday and they were successful.
Some, however, didn't quite make it.
The Freedom at Central Catholic game was moved to Sunday night, yes, tonight.
The Liberty at PM West game was moved to Feb. 8.
The ES South at Nazareth game was moved to Thursday.
The Emmaus at Pleasant Valley game was moved to Feb. 8.
But there were several games that were played. Here's a recap of those games:
Blue Mountain 60, Northern Lehigh 57 -- The lack of depth (using just six guys) may have caught up to the Bulldogs again since they were outscored 20-14 in the fourth quarter. Matt Egan had 19, Tyler Dibilio 21 and Josh Landsberger 12, but it wasn't enough to offset 20 by Will Bornstein.
Easton 56, Phillipsburg 36 -- The Red Rovers have won five of six and are now 10-7 and one win away from a District 11 berth. Nice turnaround after a 2-4 start. Hassan Greenfield led Easton with 12 in this rivalry game.
Moravian Academy 36, Pen Argyl 31 -- Much-needed win for the Lions, who got 17 points from Luke Gutekunst. Gutekunst, who now has 1,409 points, is the school's all-time leading scorer. The Green Knights, coming off a 38-35 win over Northwestern on Friday, scored just 11 points in the second half. With his team at 9-7, John Donmoyer looks like he's returning to the District 11 tournament.
Whitehall 46, Wilson West Lawn 45 -- A huge win for the morale of the Zephyrs, who fought hard but came up short against Central Catholic on Friday night. Wilson won the Stellar tournament championship in July and came to Whitehall with a 16-1 record. Matt Melosky scored a team-high 15 points, including the last six points and the game-winning basket in the final seconds. Wilson shot 18 foul shots, Zephs shot just one, so I can imagine there were some unhappy Whitehall fans in the small home crowd.
Reading 79, Allen 67 -- Canaries, who live and die on the perimeter, made nine 3-pointers and got a career-high 20 from freshman Talek Williams who was 8-for-12 from the field. But Reading looked like they were unstoppable in the middle periods when it scored 49 points. Tough weekend for the Canaries, who at 9-7 had better just worry about getting the two wins needed to secure a District 11 berth. Isaiah Palmer had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Allen.
