Local products Robb, Parris and Lippincott played key roles in Lehigh's comeback win

Noah Robb, a sophomore from Central Catholic, had six tackles (two solos) and a key quarterback hurry from his inside linebacker position for Lehigh in Saturday night's 29-28 win over host Princeton.

Robb got pressure on Princeton's Conn Michelsen on a third-and-12 play in the third period wih Lehigh down 22-9 and just starting to build momentum. Lehigh got the ball back and  scored on its next possession -- part of a 20-0 run that completely turned the game around.

Robb is second on the team in tackles with 19 (behind only Tyler Ward). He also has one of the team's four interceptions.

Josh Parris, a junior from Palisades, had a career-high six catches for 87 yards in the win.

His biggest reception was a 48-yard catch-and-run to the Princeton 4 to set up the touchdown that gave Lehigh a 23-22 lead.

Parris (No. 3 in the photo) is third on the team in total receptions with 13, but his receiving yardage total (197) is second best behind only, who else, Lee Kurfis.

Kurfis is among the nation's leading receivers with 30 catches for 585 yards.

Also, Wilson grad Matt Lippincott, a senior, started at offensive center and was part of an offensive line that performed better and picked up the Princeton blitzes as the game went on.

Freshman quarterback Nick Shafnisky, a Whitehall product, continued to serve as the team's holder on kicks. He was elevated to No. 2 on the depth chart at quarterback because Matt McHale was injured.

Shafnisky didn't see any action at QB.

Matt Laub, a sophomore linebacker from Parkland, didn't play because of a shoulder injury. Laub has three tackles this season. 

Lehigh (3-0) returns to action on Saturday afternoon at 12:30 at Goodman Stadium against New Hampshire, which features its share of local products.
