Northampton 9, Allen 0 ...  Marly Laubach tosses a no-hitter, gets her eighth shutout of the year and strikes out 16-0 as Konkrete Kids stay the area's only unbeaten.

Easton 10, Dieruff 1 ... Rovers' best player Chelsea Quinn has big day, goes 3-for-3 with HR and 4 RBIs.

Liberty 3, Emmaus 2 ... Junior Deb Renner stopped Green Hornets on three hits and went 2-for-2 at plate.

Nazareth 8, CCHS 3 ... Dominique Chamberlain went 3-for-3 to spark 12-hit attack for the Blue Eagles.

Whitehall 6, Freedom 1 ... Zephyrs pull a surprise, keep alive district playoff hopes, and help out Parkland and Becahi.

Becahi 4, Parkland 0 ... Joelle Morey stops Parkland on one hit. Courtney DuPont, Emily Brandstetter and Courtney Shupp all collect two hits.

Northern Lehigh 13, Salisbury 9 ... Bulldogs coming on strong. Trailed 6-0 after 4 innings and were still down 6-5 entering the 7th and erupted for eight runs.

Bangor 16, Southern Lehigh 1 ... The surprise of the day. Glad I didn't have to interview Brian Neefe after this one.

Saucon Valley 6, Catasauqua 4 ... Another surprise. Panthers playing well of late. Jumped to 6-0 lead and held on.

Pen Argyl 5, Wilson 0 ... Emily Smull tossed a 3-hitter and hit a home run.

Palmerton 2, Palisades 0 ... Freshman Kendra Pekurny pitches a 1-hitter and continues to impress as one of the area's rising stars.
