Parkland senior Matt Hurd pitched one-hit shutout to spark the Trojans to a 5-0 win over Nazareth in the Lehigh Valley Conference opener for both teams today.

"We hit some balls hard, but their fielders played errorless ball and made the plays," Blue Eagles coach Jon Lock said.

Parkland broke open a 1-0 game with four unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth inning off of Nazareth ace Karl Keglovits.
