Pius X's Matt Camilletti is headed to St. Francis of Pennsylvania

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Pius X football coach Phil Stambaugh announced earlier today that star receiver Matt Camilletti will continue his career at St. Francis of Loretto.

Camilletti had one of the most prolific pass-catching careers in District 11 history. He ranks second all-time, behind only Central Catholic's Kevin Gulyas, with 183 career receptions and 2,642 receiving yards.
In 2011, he helped the Royals win their second All-American League title, their fourth District 11 Class A crown and advance to the state quarterfinals. Pius X finished 12-2 as Camilletti caught 58 passes for 783 yards and seven touchdowns. He also kicked 41 PATs.

Camilletti was a second-team Morning Call All-Area choice at wide receiver. He was also PA Football News' first-team all-state tight end and was also an all-league and all-area selection.

St. Francis, coming off a 2-9 season, plays in the Northeast Conference. The Red Flash also features Easton graduate Kyle Harbridge, who is coming off a stellar junior season in which he ran for 1,474 yards on 249 carries and scored 14 touchdowns. Harbridge was a third-team All-American selection by the Beyond Sports Network.

Harbridge, by the way, ranked top-seven nationally in rushing yards per game and in the top five in all-purpose yards. His season was highlighted by his game against Morehead State where he rushed for 346 yards (the fifth-most in FCS history) and racked up 457 all-purpose yards, missing the FCS record by just 10 yards.
