Hecktown Fire Company responded to 47 incidents in August

The Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company last month responded to about 47 incidents and lodged 542 hours, Lower Nazareth Township supervisors said Thursday.

The incidents included 12 service calls, eight rescue calls, two vehicle fires, three structure fires and one dwelling fire. The fire company also responded to about 73 non-emergencies in August, lodging 986 man hours for those responses, according to the report.

No firefighters were injured during the incidents, supervisors said.
