Lehigh Valley Conference and Colonial League baseball, softball playoffs postponed again

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

The Lehigh Valley Conference and Colonial League baseball and softball playoffs aren't happening today, either. They've been postponed, again, to Saturday.

Rain all week has saturated the fields, and the forecast for the rest of the day is soggy, too.

Sunshine will be a requirement Saturday to accommodate the latest schedule changes. Here's the new plan:

Lehigh Valley Conference baseball at Sammy Balliet Stadium in Coplay:

9 a.m. Emmaus vs. Parkland
11:30 a.m. Liberty vs. Nazareth

2 p.m. Saturday championship game

Lehigh Valley Conference softball at Parkland High School:

1 p.m. Liberty vs. Emmaus
3 p.m. Bethlehem Catholic vs. Northampton

2 p.m. Sunday championship game at Patriots Park

Colonial League baseball at Limeport Stadium:

1 p.m. Southern Lehigh vs. Northern Lehigh
4 p.m. Pen Argyl vs. Salisbury

7 p.m. Saturday championship game

If the fields are still wet, the start times could be delayed. Sunday will be used as a last resort.

Colonial League softball at Patriots Park in Allentown:

10 a.m. Southern Lehigh vs. Notre Dame
12 p.m. Saucon Valley vs. Pen Argyl

4 p.m. Sunday championship game
